In this passage Maxwell describe a story of plastic surgeon and his patient whose name was nengro. one day when surgeon was in clinic then nengro came in clinic and complained surgeon about this lip, nengro had some postured under hip lip and he wanted to operate it, the surgeon advices him that there was no need to operate it. The surgeon told him outrageous fee that influenced him to forget about his lip but next morning he came with fees he agreed to operate, for a small fee and on condition that he should tell his lady love that his fees was twelve hundred dollars. He operated him successfully nengro was very happy with his girl friend but when she asked him about fees then he told her outrageous fee according to condition then she accused him for cheating and gave curse to him. on next day when nengro runing his tongue round his mouth then he felt horrible thing inside his mouth then he gave the name it "African Bug"
Next time surgeon hardly recognized him. his body shrunk, his hands had lost their strength, his voice was squeaky. surgeon again operated him then there was just a piece of gauze. Nengro Thanked Him again in a very good way.
